Terms of Use

Last updated: 3 November 2026

Welcome to HaxballEU, a volunteer-run Haxball community and tournament site. By creating an account or using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Your account

• Give true information, keep your password secret and do not share your account. You are responsible for what happens under it.
• One person, one account. Impersonating other people, players or admins is not allowed.
• Usernames and Discord nicknames must not be offensive or misleading.

2. Be fair and respectful

• No harassment, hate speech, threats, discrimination or spam — on the site, in chat or in team/profile text.
• No cheating: do not enter false results or goals, manipulate stats, use several accounts, or try to get around transfer rules and tournament rules.
• No attempts to hack, overload or abuse the site, to access other people's accounts or data, or to bypass its protections.
• Only upload pictures and logos you are allowed to use. No illegal, sexual or violent content.
• Tournament rules are posted on the Rules page. Admin decisions about matches, teams and transfers are final within the tournament.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post (chat messages, team names, logos, bios, pictures). By posting it you allow HaxballEU to display it on the site for the purpose of running the tournaments. Do not post anything you do not have the right to share.

4. What admins may do

To keep the community safe and fair, admins may edit or remove content, change or reverse results and transfers, warn, suspend or delete accounts, and disqualify players or teams that break these terms or the tournament rules. We will try to explain decisions when asked, but we are volunteers and do not have to.

5. Availability and changes

The site is provided free of charge and "as is". We do our best, but we cannot promise it will always be available, error-free or that data will never be lost. Features, tournaments and rules can change at any time.

6. Liability

To the extent the law allows, HaxballEU and its admins are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of — or the inability to use — the site, or from content posted by other users. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory law that cannot be excluded.

7. Leaving

You can stop using the site at any time. To have your account deleted, contact an admin on Discord. See the Privacy Policy for how your data is handled.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
